As a retail agency owner for the last 18 years, Joe met and worked with some great people, many of whom are customers. Almost all of his working career has been involved in the insurance industry. Initially, he handled claims for one of the country's largest property/casualty insurers. They taught him all about property, auto, and liability coverage and what can go wrong - how customers and others can be injured - and how to get them back to where they were before the accident.
As a commercial business underwriter, he learned to evaluate exposure and establish pricing for businesses of all sizes. As an underwriter, he also enjoyed visiting customers and explaining their programs so that they understood not only what was covered, but also how they were going to pay for the coverage.
Joe Diederich merged his agency with Consolidated Insurance in 2015. He retired on January 1, 2023, to spend more time with his family. Our agency appreciates the contributions Joe has made to us over the years. Best Wishes to him and his wife Jan during their retirement.
